The renowned composer Rubén Gallardo was received today by the mayor of Felanitx, Catalina Soler, in a special meeting at the City Hall.
This meeting followed the award he received last November for Best Original Score for his work on Mirror Stacy. Both the municipal government team and the mayor wanted to personally congratulate the composer, dedicating a letter that was sent to Rubén’s current residence.

After the holiday season, today marked the day when the City Council welcomed the award-winning composer, a gesture for which Rubén expressed his deep gratitude.
"Receiving this personal congratulation and the support of the City Council, even handwritten by the mayor herself, makes one feel valued and recognized in their work. It’s not something that happens every day, and it’s an experience that fills you with happiness," said the composer.

On the meeting, the composer had the opportunity to share with the mayor details about his career, his passion for music, and his future goals, including “making it to Hollywood,” as the composer confessed to the mayor. The conversation emphasized the City Council of Felanitx's support for local talent, reaffirming its commitment to promoting the cultural and artistic growth of the community.
“It is an honor to receive the support of the institutions in my hometown, and this recognition motivates me to continue working with the same dedication on every project,” Rubén added at the end of the meeting.
We extend our gratitude to the City Council of Felanitx and its mayor, Catalina Soler, for their dedication and appreciation of the effort and talent that emerges from our community.
