Last Wednesday, renowned composer Rubén Gallardo was a special guest on the program "+Directo" on Fibwi TV, hosted by the charismatic Joan Monse. During the interview, Gallardo shared some of the most significant milestones in his career, including winning the prestigious award at the New York International Film Festival, Films InFest.

The interview centered on two main topics: Rubén's journey in the world of cinema and his work as a composer of film scores. He highlighted his passion for music and revealed details about the meticulous work involved in composing for audiovisual productions. "A film score has an invaluable worth, not only for the viewers but also for those involved in the production," he said with emotion.

Gallardo also took the opportunity to talk about his latest release, Spring, an animated short that marked his first venture into this genre. Additionally, he mentioned his work on Mirror Stacy, a production that earned him the award for Best Composer.

"It was truly fun to create an animation project like Spring, and I am proud to receive recognition such as the one for Mirror Stacy," he commented.

Rubén's experience on the show was described as "wonderful." He praised the warmth and professionalism of Joan Monse, who made the afternoon both enjoyable and memorable. One of the most emotional moments during the interview was the presentation of a video montage that recapped some of his most notable projects, a moment that filled him with nostalgia and deeply moved him.

The main message Rubén wished to convey to the audience was the importance of valuing the role of the composer and the impact a film score has on any production. He emphasized the need to recognize the hard work involved in this profession, whether in small or large-scale productions.

Regarding the relevance of this interview to his career, Rubén expressed: "The media plays a fundamental role in any artistic career. Support from platforms like Fibwi TV is key to making our work known locally and expanding it further."

Without a doubt, Rubén's presence on +Directo has highlighted not only his talent and career but also the effort and dedication behind the music in audiovisual productions. We express our heartfelt thanks to the entire Fibwi TV team and to Joan Monse for the warm welcome extended to our composer.
