Rubén Gallardo was recently interviewed by Revista 07500, where he shared details about his musical journey and his recent award at the Films InFest Festival in New York for the soundtrack of the film Mirror Stacy.

From a young age, Gallardo was surrounded by musical instruments, influenced by his father, a member of the group Rupits. Throughout his career, he has learned to play various instruments, such as the piano and guitar, among others, which enrich his compositions.

In the interview, he reflects on the importance of music in film, stating that "a soundtrack can save a movie... but it can also sink it." He emphasizes the need to understand the essence of each scene to bring the right emotion through music.
